Need to add the ability to create zip files or extract the content of zip archives from a VBA project? Now you can.
Our MS Access Zip/Unzip sample database utilizes 7-Zip to add Zip and UnZip capabilities to a database.
We provide you with everything you need to implement Zip and UnZip capabilities in your databases. Furthermore, although our example is built upon MS Access forms, the underlying VBA functions can be integrated into any VBA project (Excel, Word, …).
Make a few selections:
- Select the directory in which to create the new Zip archive
- Give a name to the Zip archive
- Add a Password to encrypt the files if you wish
- Select which file to include in the Zip Archive
Click on the Create Zip File button and see the progress of the Zip archive creation.
Simply specify which Archive to extract and where to extract it and your done!
