The first time I saw Daniel Pineault’s name was on an ACCESS internet forum. His response to someone’s question was so sensible, so knowledgeable and kind that I decided to contact him to see if he would help me with my own project. My project, to create a much anticipated and promised (by me) customer database for the department, had stalled right out of the gate. I meant it to be a four-tiered repository for customer information that would allow multiple users to update through forms but I could get nothing to work! I spent a lot of time and money on training videos and books, then started canvassing local resources for help. I heard the same thing over and over: “I’ve seen/heard of/briefly studied a relational database like what you want but creating one is way beyond me.” Meanwhile, I was so past my deadline! From the first, Daniel understood my project and my dilemma. He started immediately sending me a database where forms related to tables, where one could search by employee and/or by customer (or contact) and where everything worked like it should! When I mentioned wanting a pop-up form related to another reporting form, which would make it easier for employees to remember they needed to fill out this additional information, it just appeared in the next version Daniel sent. Throughout our working association, he was patient, professional and unbelievably proficient. Then, when everything was complete and other employees in the department started using the database, their initiation was seamless and trouble-free. I can’t say enough good things about Daniel Pineault and CARDA Consultants Inc. ‘Best of the Best’ describes this company.
